So I'll go first in this topic. Ths is absolutely the BEST recipe for birdie bread. No preservatives, no sugar, no salt. Beats out those chemical pellets any day, You will be amazed at how your birds gobble this up and how their feathers shine.Feed daily. Freezer friendly. Thanks to Bobbi Brown "For the Love of Greys"
You will want to improvise but first here are the basic dry ingredients:
1 1/2 cups cornmeal
2 cups baby cereal
3 tbs. baking powder
1 tsp spirulina
1/2 cup flour ( use any kind)
Then depending on your wet ingredients go crazy: add sunflower seed ,pepitos ( raw. unsalted) trail mix, hemp seeds, ground flax seeds. steel cut oats, spelt oats, wheat germ.multi-grain cereals, millet etc
Combine this and then add anything like the following - blueberries ( frozen is fine) , mixed berries .grated carrots
( always a staple for me), broccoli,mixed vegetables, corn ( frozen or fresh off the cob) etc

Next, beat up the wet ingredients;
2 large jars baby food ( I like the combo dinners)
2 eggs ( with shells)
3/4 cups peanut butter ( use organic, no sugar, no salt)
Depending on the amount of dry ingredients, add more eggs ( I like to use a total of 4 , with shells), palm oil, bananas, pumpkin puree . applesauce, etc etc.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients. You can tell if you have the right proportions by how easily this mixes together. Place in a 13 x 9 greased pan and cook at 400 degrees for about 40 minutes.
You and your birds will love this recipe. Be creative, add in anything you think your birds should eat but don't like. They will definitely gobble it down in this bread
